Jade is superstitious in eastern cultures for its power to attract prosperity, promote inner balance + health, and offer spiritual protection to the wearer.
In western spirituality, green jadeite enhances the heart chakra, associated with love (for self + others), compassion, and forgiveness. Similarly to the values of the heart chakra, Eastern cultures associated wearing jade with embodying higher values and attracted those who possessed high character.
