This baby Ruyi is highly translucent and offers the surprise of a gorgeous yellow outline peeking out! The more translucent and clear the jadeite, the higher the value. Ruyi (如意) is the name of this traditional lucky symbol, short for the Chinese phrase 萬事如意, meaning “may all your dreams come true” or “may all your wishes be fulfilled.” You can find them on temples and landmarks throughout Taiwan, including Taipei 101.
Jade is superstitious in eastern cultures for its power to attract prosperity, promote inner balance + health, and offer spiritual protection to the wearer.
In western culture, yellow jadeite enhances the solar plexus chakra, associated with increased confidence. In Chinese culture, yellow jade 黃翡 is like gold, prized for its ability to attract wealth!
